new building
building on fire

Perth Baptist Church was founded in 1808.

It used to meet in the former Perth Opera House on Tay Street, but this building was destroyed by fire in July 1984.  For a few years the church met in various other buildings until the present building was erected in 1990. The church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland.

The second Sunday morning service was started in 1995 to accommodate the numbers attending the church.

We have recently built a hall which is used for for Sunday and youth activities, sports and Under Five's activities.

You can find out more about what we believe and where the Church is in Perth.
