Who are the target audience?
|
Children under five years old and their carers, though
tends to be age 2 to 3 years as most children move on to Playgroups. We are happy to receive any under fives' children. (Accommodation suitable for disabled children also).

What are the aims and
objectives of the group?
|
To provide an encouraging fun time with toys, climbing frame, trampoline and crafts for children to enjoy and also to help to
prepare children in the progression of attending places without their carer, by allowing carers to go to the free coffee bar with a viewing window to watch their child down in the hall whilst their child
is cared for by another carer of their choice.

What is the content of a typical meeting?
|
12.45 arrive – check out craft and play/paint/make craft
13.45 snack (healthy & fun) child collects own card to
encourage recognition of
their picture/name and posts it into the post box Messy crafts are tidied away and playdough and less messy crafts are set out. Along with Pop up toys, trampoline. Once children are settled carers take turns in going up for coffee.
14.25 ish Singing/Storytime through in Old hall, while duty carers help tidy up.
14.45-15.00 Go home for a sleep with your tired little teddy bears
